When ingested the cannabinoids enter the bloodstream through the stomach and liver, this tends to delay the onset of the effects of the edible but extends their longevity and will also increase the potency of the cannabis.

Cannabis edibles are, therefore, more potent than smokable cannabis and users looking for a more intense and long-lasting experience usually prefer them over vapes and cannabis cigarettes.

There’s no unique or correct way to make edibles. In fact, search the web for “how to make cannabutter at home” or “homemade cannabis brownies” and you’ll discover that there are more than one recipe to follow. That being said, the commonality between almost all cannabis-infused edibles you can find at our dispensary  is that they are made with highly concentrated cannabis, usually with cannabis-infused oil or cannabis-infused butter replacing the regular version. Some edibles may also be made with a preactivated oil or RSO.
